It has been a while since we last updated everyone. We have been having lots of fun and enjoying watching our little guy grow up. They grow way to fast. This post will mostly be pictures but here are a couple updates first.

Kevin has been applying for a job with Procter and Gamble since March of 2009. It has been a long process but he finally got hired! He started the begining of May. We could not be happier. This has been such a blessing for our little family. We were barely making ends meet and now we have some extra money to be able to "live" again. We also now have great health insurance. I know that the Lord blessed us with this amazing company.

I really enjoy being a stay at home mom. I love spending time with my baby and watching him learn new things. Their little brains grow so fast!

Preston is enjoying lots of playing and he LOVES to play outside!

When it was just starting to get warmer we took Preston up to the school to play on the toys. He really enjoyed playing in the dirt and rocks.

This is what I woke up to on Mothers Day. I was able to sleep in and when I got up I had 2 sleeping boys laying on my couch. I just love how Preston loves his daddy so much!

Preston loves to go around and put peoples hats on. This day he thought he should wear my grandpas cowboy hat. He doesnt normally keep them on long so if we put these M&M's in his hand then he was fine! The other night we were watching a rodeo on TV and we put him on his daddy's back and he got to ride him like a horse. He LOVED it!We were able to go down to my grandparents house on saturday and my cousin Brody took Preston for a ride on the horse. Here he is in his new Wranglers and his cowboy boots, and riding the horse.

Easter

It has been a while since I last updated the blog. I can not access it from home it makes my computer freeze. I dont think it has anything to do with the connection I think it has all to do with the fact that our computer is dying. If I have so many windows open then it freezes as well. So here is what we have been up to.
Preston has an issue with some foods. He will not eat meat or noodles. He mostly lives off of grilled cheese sandwiches and Peanut Butter and Jelly, oh and fruit. The kid will not eat veggies either. Well he's had some major diaper rash from the fruit and I decided that it was time that he got some other good foods. We have had to restort to buying some baby foods that have veggies and meats in them and he will eat them. But if I puree them he will not eat them. Finally we made spaghetti and decided that we would do macaroni for him and he DOWNED it! YAY!! So I have gotten some fun pictures of him eating and making a mess. I figure that he washes he can have fun and learn how to use his utensils.

We had a great Easter! Kevin ended up not having to work so we were able to celebrate together. When Preston got up we gave him his cute little Easter basket and he was sooo excited to get it! Then we had a small little Easter egg hunt around the living room. We watched General Conference and when it was over we headed to Bear River City to my grandparents house for lunch and another Easter egg hunt. After finding a couple eggs Preston was getting bored and just wanted to play with the dogs instead.

Recent Pictures

1st hair cut!! I cant believe he had long enough hair for a haircut. He did so well through it all!

Preston got really sick last tuesday, he started out with a high fever that lasted until friday and then saturday he got a rash. He had roseola, he's doing MUCH better now. This was him though just kicking back with his dad because he didnt feel good.
Preston LOVES his bath time!Preston Loves to sit in his toy box and play with all his fun toys, his favorite thing is throwing them out of the toy box.

Long overdue update!

It has been an aweful long time since I posted anything on here. Whenever I try and login blog at my house my internet stops working for some reason. Tonight I'm over at my mom's house so I thought I'd hurry and blog a little!
Preston is walking everywhere! He has been for about a month now! He has 6 teeth and he's teething I swear everyday. When we ask him what the dog says he kind of whines, when asked what the cow says he moos, when asked what the sheep says he says aaaaa instead of baaaa it is super funny! He can say bear now as well. He LOVES bears and dogs! He also tries real hard to say tickle tickle, this is something that we do with him, we say tickle tickle and then we tickle him and now he's started doing this. He's growing up so fast I cant believe it. He weighs now about 19lbs and is still in a rear facing car seat and I think he will be for a while. We can not wait until spring and summer hit so we can start to play outside. This kid loves to give hugs and kisses! He can sign for food, more, and he's learning drink.
Kevin and I are doing fine! Kev started working graveyards within the last few weeks so we can make it to church. He now works, sat-mon 12 hour shifts and then a half shift on tues. It was a $1 pay increase and now we can make it to church! Its obviously not his favorite shift but you do what you have to do to provide for your family. We are still waiting to hear from Proctor and Gamble.
This kid LOVES books!

Almost toddler!

Preston has been taking steps lately. I cant believe it, he's almost a toddler. The most he's taken is 10 and I missed it. Yep I'm the stay at home mom and I missed it. Oh well his daddy got to see them he needs to see a few firsts! He also started saying bye bye. He can already blow kisses, wave, climb up and down the stairs unassisted, and climbs off the couch by himself. He's getting so big! Sorry no pictures to post in this one.

Preston's doctors appt!

We went to the doctor on friday for Preston's 12 month wellness check up. He's healthy as can be! He's 17lbs 10oz and 29inches long! He's a small little guy. I think he's allergic to milk, he cant have milk, ice cream, yogurt, and pudding. Everytime he gets those he breaks out in a rash around his mouth. The doctor suggested that we try soy milk and then at about 18 months try regular milk again. He's still nursing once in a while so I'm not to worried about it. He got all his shots and we go back in 6 months for more shots and then we are done until kindergarten!
