Baby Update

We went to the doctor on May 22nd for our first OB appointment. No ultrasound which made me a little sad I wanted to see the baby. But we did get to hear the heart beat! It was the best sound in the whole world! I'm not sure how fast it was but the nurse said that it was a good strong heart beat. She had also told us that normally she only hears the heart beat at the earliest 10 weeks and we were 9 weeks! It was such a good sound to hear and it made this whole pregnancy real. My parents are soooo excited, they had talked for years about adopting a baby and now they can have a grandbaby! They are convinced that we are having a girl.
We also just got back from a vacation to Las Vegas I'll post pictures soon!

Update!

Quick update before we lose our internet.

To answer my cousins question. No our pregnancy was not really a surprise. We talked about starting a family a lot during our marriage, and we finally decided after Christmas was the best time. So I went off birth control the day after Christmas. I then got sick for 2 weeks and my boss aka doctor told me that it would be dangerous for me to get pregnant with some of my health reasons, little did we know that by then it was to late! We are super excited and everyone is telling us we are having a girl, so I guess we will see.

Morning sickness? Where do I start? Its morning, noon and night. Its been really bad. The physician assistant I work with gave me an RX of Phenergan but that did not help at all. So finally this week I called my doctors office and told them that I couldnt throw up anymore (I know to much info). They took me off my prenatals and put me on folic acid and put me on a different med for my nausea. It has helped a little bit. I got for my first OB appointment next thursday.

Kev just got a raise from work and it has really helped in getting extra bills paid off! We are trying to get his car back up and running again and then going to trade it in. My dad who is an expert at cars thinks that this will be the best thing. We are looking at an SUV, either an Escape or a Trailblazer. We will see what happens.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is mine and Kev's 1 year anniversary!! The time has gone by so fast. I'm so grateful that I married such a wonderful man, he's a great husband to me and I couldn't ask for someone better. We have one year down and eternity to go! I love you sweetie, happy anniversary!
