Sad Long Week

Today my husband is off to St. George to install cabinets and countertops. He will not be home until friday and I'm so sad already. This is the longest we have been away from each other the entire time we have been married. I feel like we are dating again when I would only see him during the weekend while he was at school. However, while he was at school he was only 2 hours away, he'll be 6 hours away all week. Hopefully he'll be able to come home pretty early on friday so we can make it to his mission reunions, yep you read that right. He has 2 mission reunions this friday with 2 different mission presidents and I believe they are at the same time even but not in the same city.

Yay!

YAY! We are officially in the 3rd trimester of this pregnancy and we have less than 100 days! How exciting is that? Its getting closer and closer. Our little one is kicking me like crazy and I love watching my stomach move.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy is an amazing experience! I have done a lot of complaining about this pregnancy because I've been so sick (which I still am). I have my good days and my bad days. Its amazing how our bodies change to carry a little baby. Today I was laying in the tub just relaxing and little Preston was kicking so hard that it was just funny to watch my stomach go up and down. Today was the first time that I have ever noticed it that much. I have seen it move a few times but never this much. I just love it!! We only have about 14 weeks left until our little one arrives and we are so super excited. Although we should probably get going on his nursery. We have slowly been working on it but we have sooooo much stuff that has to go to storage and we do not have much room for storage anymore. I have no idea how in the world all that stuff into such a small bedroom.

Great Appointment!

We just got back from my doctors appointment. What a great appointment! His little heart beat was 148. I have not gained any weight or lost any weight. They said my blood pressure was a little high but I dont see how it was high. It was in the normal range. I did have some protein in my urine but he's not to worried about that. I also asked him about my hip and tailbone pain and he told me that he's surprised that I'm feeling these pains this early in my pregnancy especially with it being my first. I'm measuring right on, he measured my stomach and I'm 26 cm so I'm growing! I'm scheduled to do my one hour at my next appointment on Oct. 8th. I'm really nervous about it, I was thinking if I fail and have Gestational Diabetes then I can not eat pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving or any of the yummy treats at Christmas time I'm really hoping I pass!

All Registered!

After searching and searching for baby items we have finally registered. We were going to register at Babies R Us, but they did not have the stroller that I wanted. I have watched their website a lot and have just not been happy with what they had to offer. So we have decided to register at Wal-Mart. Last night we sat down and went through the list of items that we need or want for Baby Preston and now we are done. Of course I'm sure we will fine tune it a little bit better, but it feels really good to have that done and out of the way!


EDIT: Looks like we will be registering at Babies R Us afterall as well. They have a few items that we like that Wal-Mart does not have, such as the cute little snow hats!

Ranting!

So monday morning our power went out at about 9:30am and of course with me being pregnant I was starving! I just had to eat something. So we decided to actually go out for breakfast. So we get to the little cafe in town and they are packed. Several people were turned away because there were no seats left. Of course we suddenly notice this lady that is sitting 2 tables from us who has already finished her meal and she was just sitting there texting away. UGH that drives me NUTS! If people are trying to get in to eat and your done why not leave? If the place is not busy then I understand, but come on people if there is a line of people waiting for a table please do not just sit there and take up the space!!
